Things to Do in Echuca Moama
Echuca is a historic river port along the Murray River. For many years it was Victoria's most substantial inland river port. In recent years, Echuca has reinvented itself as a holiday destination steeped in history. Paddlesteamers are still a common site travelling the local waters of the Murray, albeit for purely recreational and nostalgic purposes. Echuca has a great range of original buildings has enabled a meaningful renovation of the old streetscape. You may be familiar with scenes of Echuca made famous when the television series 'All The Rivers Run' who used Echuca as the setting for their show about the riverboat era.

The Riverboat Lodge Motel places you in the centre of everything. You can park your car and enjoy all that the Port of Echuca has to offer. Echuca is 205 km north of Melbourne via the Hume and Northern Highways.
Echuca is 96 metres above sea-level in a largely irrigated pastoral and agricultural district. There is some manufacturing and stock sale yards in Echuca, but tourism is the main attraction now.
